Chipotle
In the restaurant review I chose Chipotle. My
main objective was to see why the customers of chipotle seem so friendly in
their interaction with one another. The people are very important to the
restaurants success, and they can tell you a lot about the restaurant just from
facial expressions and body language. When I walked in to the king restaurant of
Mexican burritos, Chipotle, the line is what caught my eye first. This is where
each customer waits their turn to create the burrito, taco, and or bowl. While I
was in the line, I observed much communication. The people in front of me were
heavily talking and smiling.
When I arrived up to the front counter, where you choose your food, I
observed the workers making the food. They were working at a fast pace, but they
were also communicating to each other. I think this helped run things smoother
when preparing the food. The people were still in deep conversation even when
they were telling the cooks what they wanted. I believe this happens, because
the food is prepared directly in front of you, so it gives the customer in sense
of comfort to interact with those around
them.
While observing, the most dominating facture of customer satisfaction is
the quality of the food. As I watched people take their first bite I saw a sense
of deep pleasure in their eyes, some so deep that they would close them in order
to savor the taste. The food is always fresh, and the proportions are enough to
leave each person full. After I purchased my steak burrito, I sat down and
unraveled the foil to see a thick, juicy burrito, of my choice, wrap tightly in
soft warm bread. The first bite was very moist and the steak was ever so tender.
It may have been my twentieth time at Chipotle, but the taste never ceases to
amaze me.
